Valkhor is the embodiment of the untamed mind. Originally, the horse represented thought: a force meant to be integrated, guided, and mastered by the conscious self. But when thought is ignored, suppressed, or fractured by trauma, it ceases to be a vehicle and becomes a predator. Now, Valkhor gallops through the desolate wastes of the psyche—a demon born of fear. He no longer seeks a rider; he seeks only to destroy the kingdom that failed to contain him.
